i was commissioned to do this illustration for 3 life long friends. all their birthdays have eights in them, once they realized this they’ve called themselves the Eightballs ever since. all i had to do is say we’d make it look like a band tee, perhaps a ZZ top tour tee; they were all about it and i got complete creative freedom. suppose it helps a bit when you dad is one of the Eightballs!?
