I continue to explore the relationship between humans and the machines they create in their environment. In this annual event where artist are given a wooden bowl to create/transform into an art piece, I created this jelly fish like automaton. Specifically in this piece I’m exploring how a jelly fish may evolve in a polluted ocean. The majority of elements used in the making of this piece are reclaimed scrap and found objects.
