Honored to have been chosen to participate in the 2016 Black Cat Alley Project, I created a 15′ x 27′ collage/assemblage mural. This years theme was about Milwaukee and how we celebrate it. Milwaukee’s rich with brewing history so I created the “Catz Brew Haus”, a mechanized brewery serving a towering glass of beer. This project took just seven, 16hr days of painting, fabricating and installing. Special thanks to the volunteers of the project for their assistance and moral support. The public was invited to come see the finished work, hosted by the East Side BID,
The Black Cat Alley is a new arts destination comprised of outdoor large-scale murals, all in one two-block alley that serves as an open gallery walkway. It is located between Kenilworth Blvd and Ivanhoe, in the alley between the Oriental Theatre on Farwell Avenue and Colectivo Coffee on Prospect Avenue in the historic East Side neighborhood of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (view in Google Maps).
